The elite of Britain’s building industry have celebrated the winners of the Sunday Express Construction and Property Awards.
Hosted by broadcaster Janet Street-Porter the accolades were presented at a glittering ceremony in Manchester on Thursday night.
Undisputed kings of the evening were Legacie, who scooped the prestigious Property Developer of the Year and the Regeneration Impact awards for their jaw-dropping “Gateway” project, cementing their spot at the top of urban transformation work.
The event, sponsored by Sevadis, built on last year’s successful debut to reflect the scale, diversity and ambition of the vital industry.

Loose Women star Street-Porter said on the night: “It’s been an absolute privilege to host what is without doubt the biggest and most exciting awards event in Britain for the construction and property industry.
“The standard of talent, innovation and achievement on display tonight has been phenomenal.
“These winners aren’t just building projects – they’re shaping communities, driving regeneration and helping define the future of the UK’s built environment. A truly fantastic group of winners.”
Among the headline winners, Jarron Developments earned the prestigious title of Build to Rent Developer of the Year, while Strada Real Estate took home International Real Estate Agency of the Year.
Seddon Homes was recognised for its Outstanding Commitment to Regeneration, while Kinrise secured the Urban Renaissance Award for its work breathing new life into urban spaces.
DT Hughes Group was honoured for its Social Impact, reflecting the increasing importance of community-focused development, and Morpheus Lending was praised for innovation in finance, winning The Future of Property Finance.
The importance of strong supply chains was also recognised, with both DPL Fabrications and Tate Steel honoured with Outstanding Supplier Awards.

Elsewhere, Eric Wright Group enjoyed a standout evening, securing both National Construction Business of the Year and Property Deal of the Year, while Hodder + Partners celebrated a double success with Claire Hodder named Female Property Champion of the Year and the practice winning Architecture Business of the Year.
Sam Heyes, of Mountain Earth, was honoured with Male Property Champion of the Year.
The evening reached its pinnacle with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, which this year went to Dave Hughes, the driving force behind family-run civil engineering firm DT Hughes.
Founded more than three decades ago, the company has grown from modest beginnings into a respected name in the industry.
