After going viral for her beautiful Britain’s Got Talent audition earlier this year, a Co Armagh schoolgirl has secured a place in the live semi-final.
Niamh Noade, from Lislea, wowed the judges on the popular ITV talent show after she performed a stripped-back, harp-led rendition of Alex Warren’s ‘Ordinary’.
At just 17 years old, she will perform live on the third BGT semi-final this Saturday night, going up against performance group Antigravity, daredevil act Liwei Yang, The Lux City Choir, dance group Mega Unity, acrobatic act Mizuki Shinagawa, dance group Playground and finally comedian Ted Hill.

Belfast Live has been following Niamh’s journey since she entered Junior Eurovision back in 2022. Speaking after her BGT audition aired earler this year, she said she has been blown away by the support in Northern Ireland.
She said: “I can’t believe it. Everyone’s been so supportive, like, I’ve got so many messages about it.
“Britain’s Got Talent has always been my dream – I did The Voice Kids a few years ago, but I think I really was just working up to this.
“I’ve been watching Britain’s Got Talent for years and I didn’t really think that it would happen. I thought it was just out of my reach, so I couldn’t even believe when it actually happened.
“It was just amazing to be able to perform on Britain’s Got Talent. I still can’t really believe it, to be honest.”
You can watch support Niamh on Britain’s Got Talent from 7pm on Saturday, May 9 on ITV1 and ITV X
