An arrest has been made after a churchyard was sealed off as part of an investigation into an alleged rape.
Police cordoned off the entrances to All Saints Church in Mill Street, Maidstone, at around 10.30pm on Saturday (May 9).

It follows reports that a woman had been raped by a man she met earlier that evening.
It is alleged the incident happened in two town centre locations, between 7pm and 10pm, at a venue in the High Street and near the church in Mill Street.
Yesterday (Monday), a 50-year-old man from Chatham was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody pending further inquiries.
Anyone with information is urged to call 999, quoting reference 46/73799/25.
Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.
On Sunday, the police cordon was still in place at two entrances of the Grade I Listed church.
KentOnline understands the police are treating this as an isolated incident.

It is one of the largest parish churches in England and was built at the end of the 14th Century by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, William Courtenay.
It sits within a very large medieval complex called the All Saints Conservation Area, in the town centre, close to the River Medway.
