Classic Hollywood musical Singin’ in the Rain is returning to London next summer.
The show is coming back to Sadler’s Wells Theatre for a strictly limited summer season, running from 2 June to 3 July 2027.

Singin’ in the Rain features the glorious songs from the classic MGM movie, including Good Morning, Make ‘em Laugh and the legendary Singin’ in the Rain.
Casting for the production is to be announced.
In the show, journey back to the glamour of Hollywood in the roaring 20s with high-energy choreography and sumptuous set designs – including over 14,000 litres of water on stage.
Singin’ in the Rain is directed by Jonathan Church, with choreography by Andrew Wright and additional choreography by Jayne Elster. Set and costume design is by Simon Higlett.
What’s the story? Beautiful, charismatic, and very much in love (if you believe what you read in the press), Hollywood’s golden couple, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont, have the world at their feet. But when “talkies” start to replace silent movies, and an aspiring actress is drafted in to save the day, life as they know it is turned upside down.
Singin’ in the Rain on tour
Singin’ in the Rain will also tour the UK, starting at the Crucible, Sheffield on 26 November 2026, and then visits Southend, Belfast, Dublin, Sunderland, Canterbury, Dartford, Milton Keynes, Leeds, Woking, Liverpool, Glasgow, High Wycombe, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Southampton, Norwich, Salford, Eastbourne, Nottingham, and Cardiff.
The show is a Sheffield Theatres production in association with Jonathan Church Theatre Productions, presenting the Chichester Festival Theatre and Stage Entertainment Production of Singin’ in the Rain.
