A major road is set to be closed outside of Leeds Bradford Airport for a period of two weeks.
From Monday, May 18, the road between the Dyneley Arms and Pool Bank Junction to Leeds Bradford Airport is set to be closed to allow road works to take place. These closures will be in place for two weeks until Friday, May 29, with the closure taking place between 7pm and 6am.
As a result of the closure, traffic will be diverted along the A660 through Lawnswood Roundabout onto Leeds Ring Road. Traffic will then move via Horsforth Roundabout onto the A65, through Yeadon, before arriving at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Signs for the diversion will be in place, with the airport stating journeys from North Yorkshire, the North East, and Wetherby, may take up to 30 minutes longer.
The airport said: “The closure will be in place between the Dyneley Arms/Pool Bank junction and the airport. During these times, traffic will be diverted via the A660 through Lawnswood Roundabout onto the Leeds Ring Road, then via Horsforth Roundabout onto the A65 and through Yeadon before reaching the airport.
“A signed diversion route will be in operation, and journeys from North Yorkshire, the North East, and Wetherby may take up to 30 minutes longer than usual.
“The works are scheduled to begin on Monday 18th May and are expected to continue until Friday 29th May, with closures in place Monday to Friday between 7pm and 6am. Please note that works beginning at 7pm on Fridays will continue through until 6am on Saturdays.”
