A 16-year-old was stabbed in a robbery outside a Tube station in Barnet yesterday afternoon (May 18). He was knifed in front of horrified onlookers near the entrance of Burnt Oak station, on Watling Avenue, shortly after 4.15pm.
Paramedics and an air ambulance crew treated the teenager at the scene before rushing him to a major trauma centre. His injuries are not life-threatening, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
No arrests have been made in connection and enquiries are ongoing, the force added. Witnesses are urged to come forward to help in the investigation.

A spokesperson the London Ambulance Service added: “We were called at 4.17pm today (Mon 18) to reports of a stabbing outside Burnt Oak, Underground, Edgware, HA8.
“We sent resources including ambulance crews, a clinician in a response car, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance. We treated a teenager at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”
