As Prince Harry is back in the UK amid an ongoing dispute surrounding his security, he carried out his first engagement in London at the same time his brother, Prince William, was out and about in the city.
Prince Harry was at Chatham House in central London for an Invictus Games Foundation event, while Prince William visited Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain (The London Welsh School) in west London “to join pupils in sending their best wishes to Team Wales ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games,” per Kensington Palace.

It remains unclear whether or not Prince Harry will see his father, King Charles, while he is in the UK this week, but he will not see his older brother. As T&C’s Victoria Murphy wrote, “The brothers continue to be estranged and a meeting was not on the cards even before the Sussexes’ trip was shortened.”
Harry had accepted an invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace, but it was withdrawn, according to his spokesman, who described the situation as “disappointing.” Per the BBC, “Royal sources said the duke had not responded in time to the offer of accommodation at a royal residence, adding he had been informed on Saturday evening that he would not be able to stay there.”
The BBC also noted “there were also concerns from the Palace about the duke staying when a court result about his claims against Associated Newspapers was being published on Tuesday.” That result came out this morning: Prince Harry lost his case, with all claims dismissed.
