There’s still plenty to do on-site, with activities including archery, crazy golf and swimming in the indoor pool, while the evening entertainment venue offers live shows and performances.

Back at Riviere Sands, guests have shared their experiences on TripAdvisor. One guest called it “the perfect spot for stunning views”, adding: “It’s in an awesomely beautiful spot. Whether you walk through the dunes, take the steps down or path to the cove, you are met with stunning views. We loved the fact that you could brew a cuppa and head down to watch the sunset whilst watching a seal or two pop their heads up. The Bluff pub, Cove Cafe, Gilbert’s Beach Bar, Godevry Lighthouse, and Hayle are within walking distance.”
Another added: “Amazing and so cosy. This would be my 4th time at Riviere Sands, and we always feel so sad to leave – It really is home from home for us now.”
Some visitors were less impressed, however, with one noting that “the caravan was not up to scratch” and another mentioning that “the location was miles from anywhere.”
Overall, many guests had an enjoyable stay, with one family explaining: “This was our first trip to Cornwall & we were not disappointed! Hayle beach is beautiful, easy access from the park and the location of the park is good to travel easily to St. Ives, Mousehole, Penzance, etc.
“We had a beautiful caravan right on the front row, the sea views were amazing! Caravan lovely and clean, beds comfortable and shower clean and working well.”
