Jakarta, IO – Unilever Indonesia and Shopee joined forces to host “GloUtopia: Unilever Indonesia X Shopee Biggest Creator Festival” at the Senayan City from July 31 to Aug 2. Samuel Pandhega, director of digital and social commerce at Unilever Indonesia, said the accompanying “Hyper Brand Day” campaign showcases their joint commitment to delivering innovative shopping experiences while underscoring the vital ecosystem of e-commerce platforms, brands, content creators, and consumers driving Indonesia’s digital economy.

The launch at GloUtopia stands as a tangible celebration of this collaborative spirit and the rapid growth of the country’s digital marketplace, which continues to open expanding opportunities for all participating stakeholders to grow together.

This initiative builds on a partnership spanning nearly a decade, rooted in Unilever Indonesia’s 2017 debut of its first official shop on Shopee. As consumer reliance on digital channels for daily necessities has deepened, the alliance has steadily evolved, making “Hyper Brand Day” a key strategic milestone to offer a more tailored and value-driven retail experience.

Julian Kamil, head of strategic brand partnerships at Shopee Indonesia, explained that the campaign was specifically crafted alongside partners to deliver a premium, highly engaging shopping journey unavailable in standard promotions.

He expressed confidence that Unilever’s long-standing consistency in delivering consumer-centric innovations and its deeply rooted brand presence across Indonesian households will ensure the campaign’s success.

The event served as the debut platform for several exclusive product innovations, including the Vaseline Pro Derma Hand Cream, the full Sunsilk Thick & Bouncy line, three new variants of Dove Pro-Ceramide Serum Body Wash (Hydrating, Radiance, and Rebalance), and Rinso Stain Remover—all paired with limited-time promotional offers.

Content creator and beauty influencer Abel Cantika highlighted the festival’s unique ability to bridge the digital and physical worlds, noting that GloUtopia goes beyond a typical market setup by allowing consumers and creators to test new releases firsthand and build personal connections that transcend standard screen-based shopping.

Throughout the three-day showcase, attendees explored immersive brand activations from top household names—including TRESemmé, Pond’s, Pepsodent, Rexona, Zwitsal, Bango, Royco, Sunlight, and Cif—designed to illustrate how creativity, technology, and retail can seamlessly converge.

To further empower the digital community, the festival also integrated daily skill-building workshops tailored for content creators and affiliate partners.

Closing the event highlights, Samuel reaffirmed that through both “Hyper Brand Day” and GloUtopia, Unilever Indonesia and Shopee aim to prove how cross-industry collaboration can generate meaningful added value for consumers, empower local content creators, and accelerate the broader growth of Indonesia’s digital economy.
