Customers of Lloyds Banking Group’s retail banks who sign up to their health plan can get a free Garmin GPS running watch or just under £150 towards another device made by the wearables company as part of a short-term promotion. Lloyds launched the Health Plan in partnership with Vitality Health Limited, which underwrites and administers it.
There are two plans to choose from, Essential and Plus. The Essential plan is available from £18 a month for those aged 18 to 79. Lloyds says it includes: faster access to private GP appointments, physiotherapists and mental health specialists for £7 per appointment; a round-the-clock Health Advice line for support from a clinical adviser; as well as rewards and discounts with leading brands.
The plus plan is available from £42.95 a month for those aged 25 to 79 and includes everything in the Essential plan, plus “fast access to diagnostics such as blood tests, MRI, and CT scans” as well as up to “£1,000 of cover for hospital stays”.
Plus prices are based on age, starting from £22.95 a month for an 18-year-old.
It’s open to customers of Lloyds Banking Group’s high street banks, Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland, and Halifax, online and in app.
If you take out a new plan by September 30, 2026, you can get a free Garmin Forerunner 55, or £149.99 “towards a Garmin device of your choice”, the promotion on Lloyds’ website explains.
The Health Plan must be held for a minimum of three months, and terms and conditions apply.
You can find out more on the Lloyds website.
Lloyds launched the plan in partnership with Vitality Health in December last year, with Vitality saying it was “designed to help people stay healthy, with regular health assessments and savings on a gym membership, alongside access to primary care services including Vitality GP, physiotherapy and mental health care”.
Jeremy Ward, Insurance Director at Lloyds, said at the time: “We’re partnering with Vitality to give customers a new way to safeguard their health, simply and easily.
“This is an exciting next step in building our insurance ecosystem, offering quick and affordable healthcare with two levels of cover and Vitality Rewards Programme included. “
