During a fireside chat with award-winning journalist and voice of “Drive to Survive” Will Buxton, Carlos Sainz spoke about how his mother imparted one of the most important lessons that has helped shape his philosophy around teamwork and success—respect is the ultimate edge. In the paddock, that means investment and interest in each team member’s role and contributions.
That attentiveness was on full display as he toured our trading floor, hearing from our leaders about how every datapoint, every blip on a chart is an important consideration for trading under pressure—and learning what “who’s driving” and “lift it” means on the floor versus on the track.
