{"id":100052,"date":"2026-08-09T06:59:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-09T06:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/100052\/"},"modified":"2026-08-09T06:59:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T06:59:12","slug":"new-ira-hatches-civil-war-plot-to-drive-migrants-out-of-ireland-as-uk-on-alert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/100052\/","title":{"rendered":"New IRA &#8216;hatches civil war plot to drive migrants out of Ireland&#8217; as UK on alert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New IRA is planning a violent campaign aimed at driving migrants out of Ireland, intelligence officials have warned.<\/p>\n<p>Security bosses fear the republican group, which succeeded the Real IRA, has been exploiting &#8220;tensions&#8221; on both sides of the Irish border.<\/p>\n<p>A rise in migrant crime on the island has fuelled local fury &#8211; as seen in June, when the stabbing of Stephen Ogilvie, allegedly by Sudanese asylum seeker Hadi Alodid, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbnews.com\/news\/belfast-protest-bus-fire-sudanese-migrant-charged\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">sparked riots in Belfast<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Security sources told the Mail last night that the group, which still pursues a &#8220;united Ireland,&#8221; is capitalising on these grievances.<\/p>\n<p>There are concerns the campaign could push a fresh wave of migrants from Ireland into the UK, especially across the Northern Irish land border.<\/p>\n<p>A video appeared last week on social media in which an unidentified man issued threats against migrants on behalf of the IRA.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They will take control, and they will give an ultimatum, not to politicians but to the illegal migrants who are in the country,&#8221; he says.<\/p>\n<p>The man claimed the British Army had &#8220;respected&#8221; the IRA during the Troubles for their effectiveness and &#8220;professionalism&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"70e7d\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"b4c719d1b58edf8ee32e7e135e02d6b9\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%202000%201333'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/belfast-riots.jpg\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" alt=\"Belfast riots\"\/><\/p>\n<p>A rise in migrant crime on the island has fuelled local fury<\/p>\n<p> | <\/p>\n<p>GETTY<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is now going to be time for civil war, and that is exactly what these guys are going to be doing and can you blame them?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This will be a major wake-up call for the authorities.
