{"id":103352,"date":"2026-08-14T09:09:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T09:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/103352\/"},"modified":"2026-08-14T09:09:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T09:09:12","slug":"bae-turkeys-tualcom-team-up-on-autonomous-defense-tech","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/103352\/","title":{"rendered":"BAE, Turkey\u2019s TUALCOM Team Up on Autonomous Defense Tech"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/dronefront.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">&#13;<br \/>\n    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/WhatsAppVideo2026-05-15at09.23.58.gif\" alt=\"The Drone Front\" width=\"1280\" height=\"539\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BAE Systems and Turkey\u2019s TUALCOM have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baesystems.com\/en\/article\/BAE-Systems-and-TUALCOM-to-collaborate-on-autonomous-technologies-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">signed<\/a> a strategic agreement to jointly develop technologies for future autonomous defense platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration will integrate advanced communications, resilient navigation, and electronic warfare technologies into autonomous systems built for contested and degraded environments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It will also establish a framework to rapidly identify and evaluate these technologies for programs across the UK, Turkey, and international markets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFuture autonomous capability will depend not only on advanced aircraft, but on the resilience of the systems that enable them to sense, communicate and make decisions in increasingly contested environments,\u201d BAE Systems managing director Dave Holmes said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work will be carried out through FalconWorks, BAE Systems\u2019 advanced research and technology division.<\/p>\n<p>Collaborations Advance Autonomous Technologies<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BAE-TUALCOM partnership is the latest in a series of collaborations aimed at strengthening autonomous military capabilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In July, Honeywell Aerospace and Shield AI <a href=\"https:\/\/nextgendefense.com\/honeywell-shield-ai-hivemind\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">develop a trusted autonomy software stack<\/a> by combining Honeywell\u2019s avionics, navigation, and sensing technologies with Shield AI\u2019s Hivemind software.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In June, Shield AI partnered with Greece\u2019s EFA GROUP to integrate Hivemind into unmanned systems for <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2026\/06\/22\/greece-shield-ai-hivemind-pilot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">AI-assisted decision-making under operator control<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In May, Kodiak AI and General Dynamics Land Systems launched a collaboration <a href=\"https:\/\/nextgendefense.com\/kodiak-gdls-autonomous-vehicle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">to develop autonomous military vehicles<\/a> using the Kodiak Driver virtual driving system.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13;
