The extra three points moves him just two away from championship leader Dennis who will start in fifth.

The session started with some drama, as Nyck de Vries (Mahindra Racing) and Jake Dennis (Andretti) were involved in an impeeding incident where contact was made. Mitch Evans just missed out on the front row for Jaguar TCS Racing, going up against Nico Müller who put on an excellent drive to help both Porsches start in first and second – their first time since the 2025 Mexico City E-Prix.

Dan Ticktum starts fourth for CUPRA KIRO at his home event, with Joel Eriksson sixth for Envision Racing, Antonio Felix da Costa seventh for Jaguar TCS Racing and Jean-Eric Vergne in eighth for Citroën Racing.

Final

It was Porsche against Porsche in the final, with Wehrlein was only five points off the Drivers’ Championship lead at the start of today. The extra three points for pole are super valuable in this tense championship battle, with Wehrlein taking the achievement and Müller second.

Wehrlein reached the Duels on five previous occasions in London, but today will be his first front row start at this track. This is also the first time this season that Porsche got both cars as far as the semi-finals.

Semi

Pascal Wehrlein went up against CUPRA KIRO’s Dan Ticktum in the first Semi and managed to secure a place in the Final, with all eyes then on his Porsche teammate Nico Müller who was fighting Mitch Evans for a place on the front row. Müller was flying on his lap, and managed to set a time two-tenths quicker than Evans to secure Porsche their dream front-row lockout scenario as they fight for the drivers’ and teams’ championship in London.

Quarter

The first Duel saw Championship leader Jake Dennis knocked out by Dan Ticktum, causing some early surprise. This was then followed by Pascal Wehrlein who knocked out Jean-Eric Vergne at Citroën Racing, with Ticktum and Wehrlein then going head-to-head in the Semis.

Next up was Joel Eriksson at Envision, who was knocked out by Mitch Evans with the last spot in the Semi Finals being between Antonio Felix da Costa and Nico Müller, with the Porsche of Müller securing the spot.

Group A

There was drama early on in the session as championship leader Jake Dennis clashed with Nyck de Vries, as Dennis went for a move up the inside for position. The incident was investigated, with Dennis clearly frustrated behind the wheel as he threw his hands up in an attempt to get de Vries to move over with traffic continuing to build behind.

Dennis eventually passed and set the quickest time, but was beaten in the final moments by Pascal Wehrlein and Dan Ticktum to finish third with Jean-Eric Vergne getting the final spot for the Duels in fourth.

Edoardo Mortara was disappointed with a brake balance issue on his final run which saw him hit the wall near ATTACK MODE and saw him finish seventh. His teammate Nyck de Vries finished in fifth.

Group B

Antonio Felix da Costa reported hitting the wall during one of his qualifying laps, but managed to finish fourth during the session to secure a spot in the Duels. Nico Müller was quickest, with Mitch Evans going into second to keep his championship fight alive, with Joel Eriksson in third after being told he’s out of contract at Envision Racing next season.

Despite his impressive efforts to get the car into the Duels, he reported that the car was broken after his incident.

Oliver Rowland was down in seventh after a messy lap, not a good start to the weekend where he’s hoping to bank back-to-back championship crowns.

SCHEDULE: Where, when and how to watch or stream the 2026 Hankook London E-Prix, Rounds 16 & 17

It all comes down to this.
