An immersive\u00a0exhibition celebrating\u00a0Madonna<\/a>\u2018s 68th birthday will open in central London this weekend.<\/p>\n

Titled \u2018C\u2019Mon\u00a0Meet Me\u00a0On\u00a0The\u00a0Dancefloor\u2019, the interactive installation will be free and open to the public\u00a0at Outernet London tomorrow (August 16).<\/p>\n

Created and directed by\u00a0Lookport\u00a0Studio in collaboration with the venue,\u00a0it will combine music and large-scale visual storytelling across The Now Building\u2019s 360-degree digital screens.\u00a0Fans will be able to leave\u00a0personal messages\u00a0at the installation, with selected photographs and messages\u00a0to be included on the screens.<\/p>\n

\u201cMadonna helped write the language of modern pop culture through decades of relentless work, constant reinvention and a refusal to stand still,\u201d said\u00a0Lookport\u00a0founder and creative director Alex Wolf. \u201cWe wanted to\u00a0honour\u00a0that drive and give the audience a genuine way to express their own connection to her work \u2013 through personal stories, emotions and messages.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outernet CEO Philip O\u2019Ferrall added: \u201cMadonna has inspired audiences and artists for generations, so it is a complete privilege to be able to celebrate her and her connection with fans in such a creative and interactive way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Madonna released her 15th studio album \u2018Confessions II<\/a>\u2018 last month,\u00a0reuniting her\u00a0with producer\u00a0Stuart Price<\/a>\u00a0and serving as a sequel to her 2005 record \u2018Confessions\u00a0On\u00a0A\u00a0Dance Floor\u2019.<\/p>\n

NME\u00a0gave the album four stars<\/a>, noting: \u201cBy drawing from her past, both personally and musically, Madonna has made her most vital album in over two decades. This grande dame still knows how to make us move.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was also\u00a0out\u00a0Outernet London last month when\u00a0she took to the decks with Price and her daughter Lourdes at a \u2018Club Confessions\u2019 album launch party<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0She used the set to air \u2018Physical Attraction\u2019 for the first time in 40 years.<\/p>\n

Madonna also recently brought out Kylie Minogue for a surprise performance of \u2018Love Sensation\u2019<\/a>\u00a0at WorldPride Amsterdam.\u00a0The pair\u00a0subsequently\u00a0released an \u2018Afterhours\u2019 remix of the track<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She will not be headlining Glastonbury next summer<\/a>, though, as confirmed by festival organiser Emily Eavis this week, despite appearing to tease it earlier this summer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0NME\u00a0in 2019<\/a>\u00a0about the\u00a0pressures that are unique to\u00a0female\u00a0artists as they get older, Madonna said: \u201cWomen have a life span and at a certain age they\u2019re expected to go away.
