Nyck de Vries captured pole position &#8211; setting an outright track record of 1m06.925s &#8211; by defeating teammate Edoardo Mortara in an all-Mahindra final duel.<\/p>\n<p>Mahindra swept both Semi Final Duels, with De Vries eliminating championship leader Pascal Wehrlein (Porsche) and Mortara beating Nico M\u00fcller (Porsche). Wehrlein had advanced past Nick Cassidy (Citro\u00ebn Racing) in the Quarters, setting a Formula E record with his 49th Duel stage appearance.<\/p>\n<p>De Vries knocked out title contender Mitch Evans, while CUPRA KIRO&#8217;s Dan Ticktum suffered issues on his lap.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Final\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was a Mahindra fight for pole, with Nyck de Vries going against teammate Edoardo Mortara. Mahindra took the final Julius Baer Pole Position of the GEN3 era, as Nyck de Vries also managed the outright track record with his final lap time of 1m06.925s to beat his teammate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mahindra have locked out the front row for the first time, and will be fighting to secure third places in the Teams\u2019 World Championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Semi Finals\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was a Porsche versus Mahindra battle across the two Semi Final Duels, with Nyck de Vries going against Pascal Wehrlein. It was de Vries who went quickest, knocking out the championship leader who had automatically secured a sixth top-four start at this circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Mahindra\u2019s Mortara also did the same in his Duel, beating his Swiss compatriot Nico M\u00fcller for an all-Mahindra front-row lockout.<\/p>\n<p>Quarter Finals<\/p>\n<p>Pascal Wehrlein set the better lap between himself and Nick Cassidy, with the Porsche driver reaching the Duels in London for the sixth time in a row and this is his 49th career appearance in the Duel stages, an Formula E record.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next was Mitch Evans and de Vries, with the Mahindra driver getting the better time and knocking out the championship contender Evans. CUPRA KIRO\u2019s Dan Ticktum then had an issue on his lap, which automatically sent Nico M\u00fcller into the Semis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Edoardo Mortara was the quickest between him and Taylor Barnard for DS PENSKE, with the Mahindra driver sailing through.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Group A<\/p>\n<p>Nyck de Vries continued his quick form by topping the first of the group stages, with Pascal Wehrlein a tenth behind. Nick Cassidy finished third for Citro\u00ebn Racing, with championship contender Mitch Evans fourth for Jaguar. Unfortunately for him, his teammate Antonio Felix da Costa failed to make it into the Duels.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After car issues in Free Practice 3, Lola Yamaha ABT\u2019s Lucas di Grassi failed to set a lap as the team rebuilt the rear of his car ahead of his final Formula E race later today. Joining him in not getting a time on the board was Norman Nato, who too had car troubles for Nissan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Group B<\/p>\n<p>Jake Dennis finished eighth in his group, with the championship contender now starting 16th on the grid.
