One of the top 10 dairy processors in the world, Saputo Inc.<\/a>, has signed an agreement to sell its UK dairy division to B.S.A. SAS (Lactalis). The UK dairy division\u2019s five manufacturing facilities and its local brands will be included in the transaction, which is valued at approximately \u00a3988 million.<\/p>\n

The transaction is expected to be completed by early 2027, subject to applicable closing conditions and regulatory approvals.\u00a0Proceeds from the transaction are expected to be used to enhance the company\u2019s flexibility and provide additional capacity to accelerate growth.<\/p>\n
