Owning a flat in London<\/a> is the dream for many \u2014 but they\u2019re becoming increasingly difficult to sell.<\/p>\n Statistics show<\/a> many now go for less than they were bought. She tells\u00a0Metro: \u2018We want to upsize, and move outside\u00a0London<\/a>\u00a0to have a little bit more green space.<\/p>\n \u2018But there seems to be a huge supply of one-beds, particularly in southeast London.\u2019<\/p>\n One\u00a02026 study\u00a0<\/a>from property data firm Bricks & Logic found nearly half of the small flats on the market in London are selling for less than they were bought for, a figure which stretches back as far as 20 years in some cases.<\/p>\n The data found the typical price of a flat in the capital has fallen by 6.2% over the last year, approximately \u00a335,000 on average.<\/p>\n This is anything but good news for homeowners like Louisa, who just want to sell up and move on with their lives.<\/p>\n Instead, they\u2019re chained to homes they no longer want to live in.<\/p>\n Do you have a story you\u2019d like to share?
