Could it be the safest place to sleep in town?<\/p>\n<p>Ms Kemp told the Diss Express that original features have been kept to preserve the building\u2019s history, while creating \u201cstylish modern apartments\u201d within the original building.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rthmb\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg xmlns=\" http:=\"\" viewbox=\"0 0 610 460\" alt=\"Inside one of the newly refurbished appartments\" data-root=\"\/_media\/img\/\" data-path=\"XHR164U0YBBVABFISLIX.jpg\" data-ar=\"1.33\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/XHR164U0YBBVABFISLIX.jpg\" alt=\"Inside one of the newly refurbished appartments\"\/>Inside one of the newly refurbished appartments<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cIt is so sad because Diss has pretty much lost all of its banks now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, things have changed quite a lot nationally with banking, with branches only being in very big cities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe building\u2019s been really lovely, but quite challenging to restore, particularly the Grade II-listed front. I think it is nice.
