Shares of Sigma Advanced Systems<\/a> were trading in the upper circuit, up 5%, on Tuesday, August 25, after the company said it has secured a \u00a3125 million, approximately \u20b91,600 crore, long-term contract with Rolls-Royce via its recently-acquired UK subsidiary Bromford Precision Solutions.<\/p>\n

The company said the agreement builds directly on the recently-secured \u00a3300 million, or approximately \u20b93,800 crore, Rolls-Royce long-term agreement. This broadens the group’s product offering, manufacturing capability and content across critical aerospace programmes.<\/p>\n

Together, the agreements significantly strengthen Sigma’s position within Rolls-Royce’s UK supply chain while increasing long-term revenue visibility, the company said.<\/p>\n

Sigma said the Bromford acquisition also adds highly complementary manufacturing capabilities in aero engine rings and casings, and advanced precision manufacturing, enabling Sigma to supply a broader portfolio of complex engine components.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, Bromford will manufacture aeroengine rings, casings, lock plates and other critical engine structures at Sigma’s India and UK manufacturing facilities, creating a more comprehensive dual-source solution as directed by Rolls-Royce, it said.<\/p>\n

Global OEMs like Rolls-Royce are increasingly looking to India not just for cost advantage, but for engineering depth, quality and scale. By combining Bromford’s specialist UK capabilities with our integrated India manufacturing network, we are able to offer a genuinely global, dual-source solution,” Sunil Kalidindi, CEO and executive director of Sigma Advanced Systems, said.<\/p>\n

Shares of Sigma Advanced Systems were trading 5% higher at \u20b9692.7 apiece on Tuesday.
