Although they\u2019re very different events, the route is the same, snaking from Westbourne Park Station to Elkstone Road. For the second year in a row, the judges\u2019 Grandstand is open to the public \u2013 you can nab your tickets <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketsource.com\/carnivalvillagetrust\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ladbroke Grove\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ladbroke Grove offers\u00a0a\u00a0great\u00a0vantage point simply because it\u2019s so long,\u00a0so you can\u00a0always shuffle your way to a good spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Westbourne Grove<\/p>\n<p>After Ladbroke Grove, Westbourne Grove is the second longest stretch of the whole route. A word of advice: stick to the north side.<\/p>\n<p>Music<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s so much to see and do at Carnival, but if the sound systems are your priority, this 60th\u00a0birthday bash looks like a classic. Different Strokes will be pumping out hip-hop, jungle and drum\u2019n\u2019bass; the legendary Gaz\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Blues will be serving up ska, rock\u2019n\u2019roll and rocksteady; and KCC and the Rockin Crew will be heating things up with a hefty dose of house.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s just three options in an endless array \u2013 for a full list of tips, check out our list of <a href=\"http:\/\/timeout.com\/london\/music\/notting-hill-carnival-soundsystems\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the best Notting Hill Carnival sound systems for 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Food<\/p>\n<p>There are over 300 stalls at Carnival (up from last year\u2019s 250), meaning there\u2019s something for everyone \u2013 from Jamaican jerk chicken to Trinidadian roti and Guyanese pepper pot. There are veggie options at most stalls and the number of vegan traders has increased for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Toilet locations at Notting Hill Carnival\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019ll be more than 1,000 toilets available along the route. Otherwise, there are special bus services running for Carnival weekend. For example, the 148X to Victoria and Vauxhall runs between Notting Hill Gate and Victoria from 10am to 5pm, and then Notting Hill Gate and Vauxhall until 10pm.
