Foot: Foot Clan. Shredder. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Lair. Villain. Max Zorin. The 1985 James Bond movie \u201cA View to a Kill,\u201d which finds 007 (played by Roger Moore) trying to prevent Zorin (Christopher Walken) from destroying Silicon Valley and creating a microchip monopoly for his company and conspirators. Bond gets help from Stacey Sutton (Tonya Roberts), who at one point in the movie is shown driving an early XJ Jeep<\/a> Cherokee.<\/p>\n

Riot: The band Quiet Riot. Quiet. The second-generation Rolls-Royce<\/a> Ghost, which came out for the 2021 model year. Of course, as a Rolls, the Ghost needs to keep out road, wind, and tire noise but, during development, it was so quiet that it was disorienting because what passengers heard (or didn\u2019t hear, rather) didn\u2019t match the car\u2019s movement.<\/p>\n

Engineers stuffed the car with 220 pounds of sound-damping material, even putting it in the window glass and tires. According to CNN<\/a>, \u201cThe result was a strange and unnatural near-total silence. This also made other noises \u2013 someone else\u2019s breathing or pants shifting against leather seats \u2013 stand out even more.\u201d Instead of totally removing sounds, engineers found harmonies between them. \u201cThe seat frames, for example, naturally resonated along with the body of the car so dampers were added to adjust the level of that sound without entirely eliminating it. Also, a vent was added to the trunk, allowing some of the thrumming bass note created there to escape while, again, not getting rid of it entirely.\u201d <\/p>\n
