Mumbai: Faraz Sayed has joined Unilever as Digital & Marketing Services Lead for its Foods category, taking on a mandate spanning digital, marketing strategy, consumer insights, brand building and business growth.<\/p>\n
Sayed shared the development on LinkedIn, describing his first month in the new role as a rewarding experience and the beginning of a new chapter in his career.<\/p>\n
In his new position, Sayed will work across Unilever\u2019s Foods business, leading digital and marketing initiatives while bringing together consumer understanding, brand-building and commercial growth priorities.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on the appointment, Sayed said the role gives him an opportunity to work at the intersection of marketing strategy, consumer insights and business growth. He also highlighted the prospect of working with teams across the organisation to drive meaningful business outcomes.<\/p>\n
The move marks a transition for Sayed from the automotive sector to the FMCG industry. Before joining Unilever, he was associated with Tata Motors, where he served as Senior Media Manager.<\/p>\n
Sayed\u2019s new mandate comes as digital continues to play an increasingly central role in how brands engage consumers, build equity and drive business outcomes. At Unilever Foods, his responsibilities will bring digital and marketing services together with broader brand and business objectives.<\/p>\n
