{"id":118221,"date":"2026-09-05T12:52:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-05T12:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/118221\/"},"modified":"2026-09-05T12:52:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-05T12:52:09","slug":"core-sells-final-lithium-fines-to-glencore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/118221\/","title":{"rendered":"Core sells final lithium fines to Glencore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/corelithium.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Core Lithium<\/a> (ASX:CXO) has agreed to sell the remaining 25,000 tonnes of lithium fines stockpiled at its Finniss Lithium Operation in the Northern Territory.<\/p>\n<p>The binding marketing agreement with Glencore International \u2014 a subsidiary of <a href=\"https:\/\/mining.com.au\/company\/glencore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Glencore<\/a> (LSE:GLEN) \u2014 sets a base price of about US$285 ($395.47) per tonne, including cost, insurance, and freight.<\/p>\n<p>Pricing is based on indicative <a href=\"https:\/\/mining.com.au\/traces-of-lithium-emerging-everywhere-a-quarterly-perspective\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">lithium<\/a> oxide content and prevailing market conditions. The final realised price will be based on dry tonnes and adjusted for grade, moisture, impurities, transport costs, and other customary commercial terms.<\/p>\n<p>The shipment is scheduled to leave through Darwin Port during the September quarter, with net proceeds expected in the December quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction marks Core\u2019s third and final fines stockpile sale following earlier deals in April and June.
