The 34-year-old performed his own original rap at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens <\/a>and surprised judges, and the audience, when he was joined on stage by some of his pupils. They entered the stage after he began to rap and sang the chorus of the song, which included the line “just don’t lose, don’t lose, don’t lose yourself”.<\/p>\nPresenters Ant & Dec were watching the audition, which was broadcast on ITVX\u2019s Britain\u2019s Got Talent: Unseen on Saturday night, from the side of the stage. Dec says: “I love it! Go on!”<\/p>\n
The performance was a hit with all four judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI. They all said yes when deciding whether to vote Ben through to the next stage of the competition.<\/p>\n
KSI told him: “This was a nice moment. It was really, really cool. This was really nice the way you guys came together and harmonised as well with the rapping and the singing. You guys should be proud, you guys killed that.”<\/p>\n
Amanda Holden said: “It was a really good surprise and the words of that song are sticking with me now and I’m still still singing the chorus so that’s a good sign. It was a really good audition.”<\/p>\n
Simon Cowell told Ben and the group: “I loved that audition. I loved the surprise. If everyone had a teacher like you the world would be a happy place – it would! Seriously I Iove it, I love moments like this.”<\/p>\n
Alesha Dixon added: “Ben this was a great idea. I love the harmonies as well, I loved the idea of this.<\/p>\n
“Like KSI said, it’s so wholesome and honestly Ben you don’t realise what an inspiration you are. Like what a cool teacher man! I would have loved to have had a teacher like you when I was at school.”<\/p>\n
Ben, who told the judges he should have been at work as it was a school day, is now competing for the chance to win the \u00a3250,000 prize and a place at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.<\/p>\n
