OpenAI has secured its first permanent office in London, marking a significant expansion of its presence in the UK.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The company has signed an 88,500 square foot space at Regent Quarter in King\u2019s Cross, spanning Jahn Court and the Brassworks Building. The office, developed by Endurance Land, will have capacity for up to 544 team members and is expected to open in 2027.<\/p>\n
The expansion of OpenAI\u2019s UK presence reflects demand for its products and supports plans to grow its teams across research, engineering and commercial functions. It also bolsters its plans to establish London as its largest research hub outside of the United States.<\/p>\n

Since signing an MOU with the UK government last year, OpenAI has introduced data residency for UK customers, signed agreements with the Ministry of Justice, and is supporting UK SMEs to build AI skills through its SME Accelerator programme.<\/p>\n
