Capital City College has been named\u00a0a\u00a0Technical Excellence College (TEC) for Digital and Technologies, recognising its leading role in delivering high-quality, industry-focused training.\u00a0<\/p>\n
To mark the announcement, Kanishka Narayan\u00a0MP,\u00a0Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for AI and Online Safety),\u00a0visited the college\u2019s Soho campus,\u00a0Mosaic@Soho,\u00a0where he met staff\u00a0and\u00a0students and toured specialist facilities.\u00a0The Minister also spoke with students, alumni and employers, including\u00a0Tahir\u00a0Palali,\u00a0Founder of Fragments Studio,\u00a0Kain Do,\u00a0Cinematics Lighting Artist at Electronic Arts, and\u00a0Jennah Swar-El-Dahab, a student doing a\u00a0Level 3 Diploma in IT and a member of the team who won this year\u2019s Cybersecurity Greater London Skills Competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As a TEC, Capital City College will build on its strong partnerships with employers to deliver industry-relevant training and support more\u00a0students\u00a0into skilled jobs. The college will also take on a wider leadership role, working with other further education providers to share best practice, strengthen digital skills provision and help raise standards across the sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Students will\u00a0benefit\u00a0from enhanced facilities, specialist\u00a0teaching\u00a0and closer links with industry, helping them progress into well-paid careers in the digital and technology sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As part of the TEC programme, Capital City College will work with employers to design training that meets industry needs, support other colleges and training providers to improve digital skills, help more\u00a0students\u00a0progress into employment and higher-level study, and invest in specialist facilities and equipment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
