Convoys of tractors and other vehicles took to Co Tyrone roads on Wednesday night to protest over the price of fuel in Northern Ireland<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Footage on social media shows a number of vehicles slowing traffic in the Tullyvar Road in Ballygawley.<\/a> <\/p>\n

It follows previous protests which took place on Tuesday, when lorry drivers and farmers were called to gather at a number of locations in the north, to protest over the price of fuel due to the war in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday night (15 April) a PSNI<\/a> spokesperson said: \u201cRoad users are advised to expect delays in the Tullyvar Road area of Ballygawley due to a number of vehicles in the area.<\/p>\n

\u201cTraffic is slow moving, and motorists should seek alternative routes where possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Convoys of tractors and lorries took to a number of main arterial routes across the north on Tuesday in protest at rising fuel costs sparked by the war in Iran.<\/p>\n

A number of fines were handed out by the PSNI in response to those participating in the protests, <\/a>however the widespread disruption which had been anticipated did not materialise.<\/p>\n

However, by Tuesday evening, plans for another fuel protest were circulating on social media for April 24 at a number of locations, including at Belfast International Airport.<\/p>\n
