We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.<\/p>\n<p>Your support makes all the difference.Read more<\/p>\n<p>The UK\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/bulletin\/culture\/eurovision-asia-thailand-bangkok-video-b2949085.html\">Eurovision<\/a> Song Contest entry, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/eurovision\/eurovision-2026-uk-entry-look-mum-no-computer-song-lyrics-b2921690.html\">Look Mum No Computer<\/a>, has admitted to &#8220;missing the concept of sleep&#8221; in the intense run-up to the competition, following the<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/bulletin\/culture\/look-mum-no-computer-eurovision-baby-b2955356.html\"> recent birth of his son<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Battle, the YouTube star behind the stage name, also revealed he has personally built most of his staging for his performance in Vienna, Austria, where he will sing his track &#8220;Eins, Zwei, Drei&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the Press Association at the London Eurovision Party at Outernet in Tottenham Court Road, Battle candidly shared his current challenges. He said: &#8220;Everything happens at once, which is kind of mad and it\u2019s a lot of work. (Getty)<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cSo it\u2019s all figured out now, finished building the props about two hours before we had to go to the hospital with my wife.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I built props, and it\u2019s already in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/vienna\">Vienna<\/a> now. I mean, it\u2019s on a big lorry to Vienna, whether it\u2019s got there already, I\u2019m yet to find out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The artist, who has become known for his videos about making and playing unusual electronic music equipment, said he would be doing Eurovision \u201cmy own way and hoping for the best\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Battle continued: \u201cI didn\u2019t know what to expect one bit to be honest, so it\u2019s a surprise every day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, today I\u2019ve turned up, I\u2019ve just woke up and drove here, and now we\u2019re all talking, and there\u2019s more people than I ever imagined, so I\u2019m imagining it\u2019s probably going to be even more so in Vienna.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since beginning his YouTube career in 2013, the singer has since amassed more than 85 million views and 1.4 million combined subscribers and followers across his various social accounts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/2272113039.jpg\"  loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Sam Battle revealed he has personally built most of his staging for his performance in Vienna, Austria.\" class=\"sc-1mc30lb-0 ggpMaE inline-gallery-btn\"\/>Sam Battle revealed he has personally built most of his staging for his performance in Vienna, Austria.
