Recent research from Holafly<\/a> has only confirmed our existing reputation, with the city officially being recognised as one of the best \u2018foodie\u2019 cities in the world. The research places an emphasis on which cities had the most diverse dining scenes, and while London didn\u2019t place at the top, it did come in at a pretty respectable 4th place as one of the most diverse places to dine in the world.<\/p>\n

At the top of the list was Melbourne, Australia. The \u2018culinary capital of Australia\u2019 was ranked as the world\u2019s most diverse foodie city, with \u201c79% of its restaurants serving international cuisines\u201d.<\/p>\n

London, in comparison, at 4th place, serves international cuisine at 74% of its restaurants. This allows travellers to \u201ctaste the world without stepping foot outside the city.\u201d<\/p>\n

London was also recognised for its impressive offering for some people who might struggle to eat out regularly. It\u2019s the best city in the world for diners searching for gluten-free meals. The research found that London \u201cleads globally for gluten-free options, with 21.6% of restaurants catering to gluten-free diners\u201d.<\/p>\n
