When you think of London, you might think of the city\u2019s iconic skyline, impressive food scene, or iconic landmarks. But what some people don\u2019t realise until they visit is just how full the city is with incredible parks<\/a> and green spaces<\/a>. And with warm weather on the way, Chapter<\/a> has done the hard work for us and analysed London\u2019s best parks, \u201cto reveal the best spaces for an afternoon stroll and stretch in the capital.\u201d<\/p>\n

And for those among you who think bigger is always better, that doesn\u2019t seem to be the case. It wasn\u2019t London\u2019s biggest green space that was revealed to be the city\u2019s best park. Instead, it was none other than the iconic Hyde Park that took the crown as London\u2019s best park.<\/p>\n

To rank the outdoor sites, each one was analyzed base on \u201ca combination of park ratings, social media activity, monthly Google search volume and overall size\u201c. In the end, a combination score was given to each one, landing Hyde Park handily at the top of the list.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re simply looking for the biggest of the lot, that would be Wimbledon Common, which clocks in at a whopping 460 hectares. With all that space, you\u2019re sure to find somewhere to sit at least! <\/p>\n

London\u2019s best small parks<\/p>\n

As well as ranking the city\u2019s behemoth verdant spaces, Chapter also created a mini ranking of some of London\u2019s best smaller parks. They highlighted the parks in London that \u201cperform strongly across search demand, social media activity and visitor ratings.\u201d If you\u2019re after a slightly more diminutive green spot to relax in, here\u2019s where to go:<\/p>\n

The Hill Garden & Pergola<\/a>, Camden \u2013 \u201cCovering just 1.39 hectares, its overgrown walkways and elevated views have made it a favourite for photographers and those seeking a quieter alternative to Hampstead Heath below.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chelsea Physic Garden<\/a>, Chelsea \u2013 \u201cone of London\u2019s oldest botanical gardens [with] a loyal following among plant lovers and history enthusiasts\u201d<\/p>\n

Haggerston Park, Hackney \u2013 \u201ca more community-led space\u2026 [with] sports pitches, open green areas and a nature reserve, it plays an important role locally\u201d<\/p>\n
