A desperate search is underway to trace a teenager who has not been heard from for more than a week.<\/p>\n

Aaliya was last seen on CCTV in Birmingham<\/a> on April 16.<\/p>\n

The 15 year old, from Windsor, had travelled to Birmingham New Street Station<\/a> and was last captured on CCTV on Smallbrook Queensway where she was asking people on the street to use their phone.<\/p>\n

Aaliyah is thought to have travelled by taxi to Kettering then by train to Leicester and Birmingham but she could have since gone elsewhere.<\/p>\n

She has links to areas across east Berkshire and Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She was last seen person in Windsor where she lives around 1.50am on April 16.<\/p>\n

Thames Valley Police said in a statement: “We are appealing for the country\u2019s help to find a girl who has been missing<\/a> for more than a week.<\/p>\n

“Aaliyah, aged 15, was last seen in-person in Windsor, where she lives, at around 1.50am on Thursday 16 April.<\/p>\n

“Aaliyah has since been seen on CCTV on Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham, shortly before 10am that day, having got the train into Birmingham New Street station.<\/p>\n

“Aaliyah has been asking people she meets on the street to use their mobile phone, so please get in touch if this has happened to you.<\/p>\n

“Aaliyah is around 5ft 3ins tall, of average build, with long black hair, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.<\/p>\n

“Aaliyah is thought to have travelled by taxi to Kettering then by train to Leicester and Birmingham but she could have gone elsewhere. She has links to areas across east Berkshire and Birmingham.<\/p>\n

“We are doing everything we can to find Aaliyah since she was reported missing, with support from policing and other partners, but we need the public\u2019s support.<\/p>\n

“If Aaliyah sees this appeal, please know you are not in any trouble; we just want to make sure you are safe and well, so please contact us.”<\/p>\n

The statement added: “If you see Aaliyah, please call 999, quoting reference number 43260183769.<\/p>\n

“Anyone with information about Aaliyah’s whereabouts should tell us via our website, quoting the same reference number.
