Viewers watching Britain’s Got Talent’s first live semi-final on Saturday evening slammed what they perceived as “rude’ Simon Cowell after a moment with his Dec Donnelly.<\/p>\n
After Dec and co-host Ant McPartlin called for no drama after the chaotic events of the night before, during the I’m A Celebrity South Africa final, Simon took aim at Dec. Dec tried to wrap up the judges’ feedback for magician Fraser Penman after the act and the commentary went on a bit long.<\/p>\n
Dec was heard shouting out: ” behaviour from Simon Cowell during an exchange with Dec Donnelly.<\/p>\n
Following Ant McPartlin and Dec’s plea for a drama-free evening after the previous night’s chaotic I’m A Celebrity South Africa finale, Simon clashed with Dec over timing. The presenter attempted to move things along after magician Fraser Penman’s performance when the judges’ commentary ran longer than expected.<\/p>\n
Dec could be heard calling out: “Thank you judges, thank you very much”, signalling it was time to progress with the live broadcast. However, viewers spotted Simon’s sharp response to the interruption, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n He told Dec: “I’m still talking!” Dec seemed caught off guard by the remark. While Simon was merely indicating he hadn’t completed his feedback, fans felt the response was somewhat harsh, particularly given the presenting duo’s difficult experience the previous evening.<\/p>\n Taking to social media one fan said: “I’m still talking? F**k off Simon.” A second fan said: “‘I’m still talking’ Simon I think Ant and Dec have had enough attitude for this weekend.”<\/p>\n A third fan posted: “Wow @SimonCowell is a little rude I’m still talking!” Another viewer said: “‘I’m still talking’ God he’s such a d**k. Pack it up Dec, you don’t need the money.”<\/p>\n Another viewer said: “I’m still talking lol,” as a final post read: “Omg I couldn’t tell if he’d said that or ‘I’ll stop talking’, poor Dec, hasn’t he been through enough?” It comes after hosts Ant and Dec experienced a rather turbulent evening on Friday, while presenting the live finale of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa. The duo were compelled to intervene during the broadcast as tensions flared involving Jimmy Bullard, David Haye and Adam Thomas.<\/p>\n David confronted Adam regarding his confrontation with Jimmy which was recorded late last year, but only transmitted this week. David had himself faced criticism over his own clash with Adam during the programme, with viewers suggesting he “bullied” the actor following his withdrawal from a trial.<\/p>\n Adam and Jimmy joined forces to undertake a Bushtucker trial during the series, only for Jimmy to put their prospects in the competition at risk. The soap star labelled his fellow campmate a “prick” before challenging his conduct, visibly distressed as he raised his voice and gestured at Jimmy.<\/p>\n
