Has a new Banksy artwork just popped up in central London? A new\u00a0statue\u00a0has appeared on a plinth in St James\u2019 \u2013 and it seems to bear the legendary artist\u2019s signature.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The sculpture shows a suited person marching forward off of a plinth, their face smothered by a billowing flag. It sits on Waterloo Place, near statues of Edward VII and Florence Nightingale and the\u00a0Crimean War Memorial.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The authorship of the piece hasn\u2019t been confirmed by Banksy, who usually does so on his Instagram<\/a>. While the piece is signed by the artist, he doesn\u2019t always do so \u2013 in fact, none of his murals in London from the past few years were signed<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
