Brits should be ready to “unplug any non-essential appliances” in nine counties that are set to face Thunderstorms on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Met Office<\/a> published its UK weather forecast for the extended weekend, providing further information about the atmospheric conditions.<\/p>\n

According to the national agency, Sunday will begin “wet for many parts of England and Wales, with rain also possible across southern Scotland and some heavy bursts are likely once again”.<\/p>\n

The agency added: “Scotland and Northern Ireland will have a fresher feel overall, with fewer and lighter showers.<\/p>\n

Temperatures will be near average in northern areas, while parts of the southeast could still feel fairly warm where cloud breaks occur later in the day.”<\/p>\n

On its own website, the Met Office issues advice on how to “stay safe” during thunder and lightning.<\/p>\n
