He made the plea in February, hoping a change of PM in Westminster would limit the damage north of the border. The latter city includes Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson\u2019s constituency, one of many Cabinet ministers Reform hopes to eject in 2029.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe problem for Labour is \u2026 that it\u2019s not all in their own hands,\u201d says Curtice. \u201cLabour badly, badly need the Tories to recover at Reform\u2019s expense,\u201d he adds. A significant part of Farage\u2019s success comes from former Tory voters.
