{"id":3085,"date":"2026-04-01T09:55:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T09:55:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/3085\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T09:55:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T09:55:06","slug":"a61-serious-incident-updates-as-major-road-closed-and-police-warning-issued","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/3085\/","title":{"rendered":"A61 &#8216;serious incident&#8217; updates as major road closed and police warning issued"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service issued a statement which read: &#8220;We are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision on the Horns Bridge roundabout in Chesterfield.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Two fire engines are in attendance alongside other emergency services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Horns Bridge roundabout leading to the A617 towards the M1 is closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;The A61 southbound is also closed between Tesco, on Lockoford Lane, and Horns Bridge and is expected to remain closed for much of the day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Please avoid the area and find alternative routes.
