David Beckham has become Britain\u2019s first billionaire sportsman after his wealth doubled in the last year, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.<\/p>\n
The former captain of the England football team and his wife, Victoria Beckham, are now estimated to be worth almost \u00a31.2bn.<\/p>\n
Beckham has benefited from the surging valuation of Inter Miami, the US football team he co-owns, who won the Major League Soccer title in 2025.<\/p>\n
He also owns supplements brand IM8, production company Studio 99 and has lucrative endorsement deals in sportswear, fashion and fragrances.<\/p>\n
Victoria Beckham\u2019s fashion and beauty business<\/a> is also booming. His holding company, DRJB Holdings<\/a>, paid out more than $50m in dividends in its most recently published accounts.<\/p>\n Former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone<\/a> is the richest Briton with an involvement in sport, according to the Sunday Times.
