The body of a man has been found in the water of a Co Down<\/a> park on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n Emergency services are attending the scene in the Shore Road area of Rostrevor on May 17 after reports of a body in a “section of river”.<\/p>\n Independent Councillor Mark Gibbons said the body of a man was discovered by members of the public in Kilbroney Park.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Murder investigation launched after man dies following East Belfast break-in<\/a>READ MORE: Co. Donegal crash horror as two dead and four injured<\/a><\/p>\n A PSNI<\/a> spokesperson: “Police are currently in attendance at the Shore Road area of Rostrevor following the report of a body in the water today, Sunday 17th May.<\/p>\n “There are no further details at this time.”<\/p>\n Cllr Gibbons sent his thoughts to the man’s family and thanked the members of the public who “did all they could” after discovering the body.<\/p>\n He said: “A man has sadly been found deceased in a section of river in Kilbroney Park this morning.
