A man has been charged with attempted murder after police descended on a street in Tuebrook. Officers were called to a house on Snaefell Avenue just before 7.20am yesterday (Sunday, May 17) where it was reported a woman in her 30s had been hit on the head.<\/p>\n
The North West Ambulance Service<\/a> attended and the woman was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, where her condition is described as critical but stable. Louden Chagona, 50, of Snaefell Avenue in Tuebrook, <\/a>has been charged with attempted murder.<\/p>\n He has been remanded <\/a>into custody to appear at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court today (Monday, May 18).
