The closest they came was in 2023, when Hedi Slimane, then creative director of Celine, asked Shanny Wise and Jackson Walker Lewis to DJ at one of his after parties – but even that seems like a stretch. “I thought we were the worst fit on the planet,” Lewis said in an interview afterwards. “We wear baggy pants and don’t play rock’n’roll.”

That’s not to say that Fcukers aren’t a well-dressed band, though. In their music videos and live sets, the duo sport a mix of vintage sportswear and scuzzy band tees, or baggy streetwear and face-swallowing shades. The band name was even taken from an FCUK hoodie Lewis wore in the studio once. And while their aesthetic is often boiled down to inane catchalls like “90s-rave-meets-downtown-New York”, Lewis reminds us that, “we were dressing this way before we were doing the Fcukers stuff… it is authentic, we’re not trying to be anything we’re not.” Ironically, the embrace of personal style over fashion is probably why they’re loved so much by fashion people, a group so constantly in search of the kind of effortlessness you can’t really fake.

Fcukers recently brought their signature brand of electro sleaze to UK shores, and with it came this signature style. Not just with them on stage, but across the thousands-strong crowd too, who packed the O2’s Kentish Town Forum this past Friday night for the duo’s biggest gig to date. Just like Wise and Lewis before them, punters arrived in beaten leather jackets, baggy trousers and Nike TNs, while the grubbier elements of their style were telegraphed through ripped tights, studded belts and one bra which was worn over its top. Fcukers’ music is for those up for a good time, and their fans definitely got the memo for the dress code that night.

Scroll through the gallery above for all the outfits from the gig

It’s ironic that, considering how much they’ve been embraced by the fashion crowd, Fcukers haven’t really courted capital…

[26
494,3157,3156,3158,3159,3160,3161,3162,1109,1038,3154,3155,27,674
post-41966","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-london","tag-art","tag-dazed","tag-dazed-confused","tag-dazed-confused-magazine","tag-dazed-and-confused","tag-dazed-and-confused-magazine","tag-dazedconfused","tag-dazeddigital","tag-fashion","tag-film","tag-ideas","tag-ideas-sharing-network","tag-london","tag-music
["GET
