Just a couple of minutes\u2019 walk from the college\u2019s existing city centre campus main building in Dumballs Road, which opened in 2015, the new purchase is a significant investment to enhance CAVC\u2019s city centre facilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">CAVC Group is now the largest college group in Wales and third largest in the UK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Planning for the development of the 13,000sqm site now begins. The development will be delivered through the Welsh Government\u2019s Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme, subject to funding approval.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This purchase coincides with CAVC\u2019s \u00a3119m investment in brand new campuses in the Vale, both due to open in September 2027. This includes Barry Waterfront Campus, a community-focused college in the heart of the town, and an Advanced Technology Centre by Cardiff Airport.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"gofollow\" data-track=\"MjAxLDYsMSw2MA==\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jeffwhitemotors.co.uk\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Jeff-White-car-sales-1.png\"\/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">CAVC Group chief executive Mike James said: \u201cWe are delighted to have secured this landmark building.
