A man from Cornwall has died after a crash in Devon.<\/p>\n

Three vehicles were involved in the collision on the A386 near Okehampton on Tuesday, May 19.<\/p>\n

Devon and Cornwall Police<\/a> said the incident took place at around 1.50pm and involved a silver BMW estate, a white Ford Transit van and a white Citroen Relay Luton van.<\/p>\n

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that a 33-year-old man from Okehampton, who was driving the BMW, was declared dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

A 74-year-old man from Bude<\/a>, who had been behind the wheel of the Transit van, was rushed to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n

In a further update, Devon and Cornwall Police revealed he tragically succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, 21st May. His family have been informed.<\/p>\n

The Citroen driver was not injured in the crash.<\/p>\n

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses who may have seen what happened.<\/p>\n

A force spokesperson said: “A second man has died following a three-vehicle collision on the A386 near Okehampton.<\/p>\n

“Emergency services were called to a collision between Hatherleigh and Folly Gate at around 1.50pm on Tuesday 19 May.<\/p>\n

“It involved a silver-coloured BMW estate, a white Ford Transit van and a white Citroen Relay Luton van. The 33-year-old male driver of the BMW, from the Okehampton area, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n

“The driver of the Ford Transit van, a 74-year-old man from the Bude area, was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries. We have now been informed that he died of his injuries on Thursday 21 May. His next of kin have been informed.<\/p>\n

“The driver of the Citroen van was uninjured. Officers are continuing to appeal for information and dashcam footage following the incident.<\/p>\n
