HSBC Life wins global insurance award<\/p>\n Our insurance business \u2013 HSBC Life \u2013 has won its first ever global award after being named by Euromoney as the World\u2019s Best Insurance Provider for Wealth Management.\n<\/p>\n Euromoney\u2019s Private Banking Awards 2026 ranked more than 350 financial institutions across six continents.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThis award is a strong testament to our ability to capture international demand for wealth preservation and wealth transfer,\u201d said Edward Moncreiffe, CEO, Insurance, HSBC.\n<\/p>\n \u201cWe achieved this by leveraging our trusted brand, fortress balance sheet, innovative products, deep underwriting capacity, robust partnership network, and close customer relationships.\u201d\n<\/p>\n What Euromoney said<\/p>\n \u201cHSBC Life has built a specialist high- and ultra-high-net-worth (HNW\/UHNW) insurance franchise that now sits at the centre of many private bank wealth plans, combining balance sheet strength with product innovation and genuinely global distribution reach,\u201d Euromoney wrote in its results coverage.\n<\/p>\n \u201cAt the core is a clear strategic focus: HSBC Life is not a mass market insurer dabbling in wealth, it is a HNW specialist built around legacy, liquidity and estate planning needs.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Other award wins<\/p>\n As well as HSBC Life\u2019s award, we were recognised as the best bank in a range of categories, including:\n<\/p>\n Best International Private Bank in the Middle East<\/p>\n Asia\u2019s Best for Premier Banking<\/p>\n Asia\u2019s (and Hong Kong\u2019s) Best for Succession Planning<\/p>\n The Best International Private Bank in China, the Philippines, India and Singapore<\/p>\n Best Private Bank and Best for Chief Investment Office in Hong Kong<\/p>\n Best Bank for High Net Worth in Mexico<\/p>\n Insurance growth<\/p>\n Macroeconomic factors, including ageing demographics and market volatility, have positioned insurance as a key solution for growing, protecting and transferring wealth across generations.\n<\/p>\n Last year, our total insurance revenue increased by 35%, with demand for HNW solutions in Asia being a core driver.<\/p>\n
Join our informal shareholders\u2019 meeting<\/p>\n If you\u2019re a shareholder in Hong Kong, you\u2019re invited to an informal meeting in the city on Tuesday, 21 April.\n<\/p>\n It\u2019s your opportunity to hear from Group Chairman Brendan Nelson and Group CEO Georges Elhedery about our 2025 results and other matters of interest.\n<\/p>\n The meeting will be held in the Grand Ballroom, 16\/F, Hopewell Hotel, 15 Kennedy Road, Wan Chai, at 4.30pm (Hong Kong time).\n<\/p>\n Registration for the meeting will take place from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
