Need to grab something last-minute from the shops?<\/p>\n

Supermarkets<\/a> have revealed their holiday opening times<\/a> for the late May bank holiday this year. But depending on your plans, you may have quite a lot of shopping to do.<\/p>\n

To save you time, Metro has compiled everything you need to know below.<\/p>\n

Opening hours may vary by branch, so please check your local store\u2019s specific times to avoid disappointment and empty bags today.<\/p>\n

All supermarket opening times for the late May bank holiday<\/p>\n

Lidl<\/p>\n

English Lidl<\/a> branches outside London M25<\/a> and in Wales<\/a> will have reduced opening hours today, between 8am and 8pm.<\/p>\n

Stores in London<\/a> and across Scotland<\/a> will remain open as usual, with most closing at around 10pm or later.<\/p>\n

\nMarks & Spencer<\/p>\n

Opening times for M&S<\/a> shops today will vary by store.<\/p>\n

Some larger shops will operate as normal, while others, including many M&S foodhalls, will close slightly earlier than usual.<\/p>\n

We recommend you check your local M&S store\u2019s opening times using the chain\u2019s store listing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nTesco<\/p>\n

Tesco<\/a> has confirmed all of its large stores will close by 6pm today.<\/p>\n

A few of the retail chain\u2019s Express shops, mostly those in central London, will also close at 6pm, while others across the UK are expected to run as normal.<\/p>\n

You can check the opening times for your local stores\u00a0using their store locator<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nAldi<\/p>\n

Aldi<\/a> stores across the UK are expected to operate with reduced hours today and will open between 8am and 8pm.<\/p>\n

However, you\u2019re advised to check the bank holiday<\/a> opening and closing times for individual Aldi stores with the chain\u2019s store finder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nMorrisons<\/p>\n

Most of Morrisons<\/a>\u2019 large stores will close earlier today \u2013 the majority will be open between 7am and 8pm.<\/p>\n

The supermarket\u2019s Daily shops, however, will remain open as normal.<\/p>\n

Check exact times for your nearest Morrisons using the chain\u2019s Store Finder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sainsbury\u2019s<\/a> has also confirmed the opening times for its shops across the UK.<\/p>\n

The retail chain\u2019s larger shops, and the Argos<\/a> branches within them, will close early, with most operating between 8am and 8pm.<\/p>\n

Its smaller Local shops will remain open as normal.<\/p>\n

Co-op<\/a> branches will open as normal today, with stores shutting late and a few locations still operating for 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Large Asda<\/a> stores are expected to close earlier than normal, with most shops open between 8am and 10pm, but this depends on the store.<\/p>\n

The chain\u2019s Asda Living shops will also close slightly earlier than normal.<\/p>\n

The smaller Asda Express shops will remain open as normal, while the Express Petrol stores will operate 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Waitrose is expected to close the majority of its large shops earlier today, while its Little Waitrose<\/a> stores will operate as normal.<\/p>\n
