St. Vincent<\/a>\u00a0has announced a vinyl release for her BBC Proms show at London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall last year.<\/p>\n

The musician \u2013 real name Annie Clark \u2013 played an orchestral set at the annual classical music festival in September,\u00a0backed by a 60-piece orchestra conducted and arranged by Jules Buckley<\/a>, who was celebrating\u00a0his 25th\u00a0Prom.<\/p>\n

The set had previously been released as a digital streaming album in March<\/a>, under the title \u2018St. Vincent: Live\u00a0In\u00a0London!\u2019,\u00a0and now a vinyl pressing has been announced for the\u00a0album.<\/p>\n

The 19-track release spans some of Clark\u2019s biggest songs alongside deep cuts, and it will be released on July 10 via Total Pleasure\/Virgin Music Group. Pre-order\/pre-save your copy\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the show last autumn, Buckley said: \u201cThe concept here is not just to slap an orchestral wallpaper behind an artist. We\u2019ve worked together to find a new interpretation of St. Vincent\u2019s sound. Annie and her keys player, Rachel, have toured as a duo, so that\u2019s been an inspiration for how to reimagine some of the pieces with a larger ensemble.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clark had previously taken to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in 2024. In\u00a0a four-star review of that gig<\/a>,\u00a0NME\u00a0wrote: \u201cThroughout the\u00a0pulverising\u00a090-minute set, Clark wields her guitar like a weapon and attacks the microphone with a restless urgency.<\/p>\n

\u201cBig, cathartic breakdowns teeter on the edge of chaos, but Clark and her four-piece band never let things fall apart completely.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0gorgeous to watch, but it demands participation as well. With music this charged,\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0simply no standing on the sidelines.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year,\u00a0St. Vincent covered Depeche Mode, Jeff Buckley and more at an intimate show in California<\/a>, alongside her keyboardist Rachel Eckroth.\u00a0She also joined Cate Le Bon onstage in New York\u00a0<\/a>to perform\u00a0their collaborative single \u2018Always The Same\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n
