WXCharts <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"Weather maps\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/weather-maps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">weather maps<\/a> using ECMWF data show the massive wall of rain sweeping across the UK on Monday, June 1, as deep orange and red weather bands engulf parts of northern England and Scotland in some of the wettest conditions shown on the charts.<\/p>\n<p>The <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"Storm\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/storm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">storms<\/a> are forecast to begin pushing into parts of Britain from around 10am BST before intensifying by 1pm BST. The maps, valid at 9am and 12pm UTC, <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2208435\/uk-weather-maps-rain-england\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">show intense downpours sweeping from southern England<\/a> through the Midlands and into Scotland, with the huge rain band stretching roughly 500 miles across Britain as it tracks northwards.
