Viewers branded the ITV talent show ‘amateur’<\/p>\n

Britain’s Got Talent viewers have issued the same complaint over the show being ‘amateur’ as Ant and Dec<\/a> were forced to halt the live final just five minutes after it began.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s final (May 30) sees 10 acts take to the stage to battle it out for a place in the Royal Variety Show where they’ll perform in front of the Royal Family<\/a>, as well as winning a whopping \u00a3250,000.<\/p>\n

During the semi-finals, each of the four judges – Amanda Holden, KSI, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon – each got to use a gold buzzer to send whoever they wanted immediately through to the final.<\/p>\n

Amanda chose singer Matty Juniosa, Alesha picked dance troupe Sadeck Berrabah and LMA, Simon <\/a>picked poet Sonny Green and KSI put through fire juggler Liwei Yang.<\/p>\n

But it was the latter act whose performance caused a stir during the live final. Liwei was set to open the show, but it seemed that there was a technical delay with the production.<\/p>\n

After announcing her name and the crowd cheering her on, Ant and Dec then explained that they needed ‘a few more minutes’ to set up. Trying to fill the gap, the hosts then turned to the judges to ask them how they are feeling about the final.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the judges, Simon said: “This is what happens when you do live TV”.<\/p>\n

Minutes later, Liwei Yang then took to the stage for a spectacular performance featuring her husband for the first time. The judges were blown away with the routine, with KSI left open-mouthed.<\/p>\n

But Britain’s Got Talent fans weren’t left impressed with how the show kicked off, complaining that the delay was ‘amateur’.<\/p>\n

Taking to X, formerly Twitter<\/a>, @Dayjur11 wrote: “It’s only been on five minutes and it’s already amateur hour. #bgtfinal #bgt.”<\/p>\n

@DoublexG_95 said: “Why aren’t you guys f***ing ready? Just when you thought this show couldn’t be anymore amateurish. #BGT.”<\/p>\n

@roscoeleebarnes added: “Not ready. panic filling #BGT.”<\/p>\n

@FleuritoFaveees also said: “The act not being ready…I’m getting flashbacks to that car crash of a live show there was last year #bgt.”<\/p>\n

@RyanSoapKing25 also wrote: “I love how all the delays always seem to happen in the final but never the Semi Finals which are also LIVE #BGT.”<\/p>\n
