Levy, the sports and entertainment division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has signed a new 20-year agreement with The Jockey Club covering hospitality, catering and related services across its racecourse estate.<\/p>\n
Under the deal, Levy will continue as food and beverage partner at the organisation\u2019s 15 UK racecourses, while also expanding its responsibilities to include hospitality package sales and delivery, conferencing and events, and retail merchandising.<\/p>\n
As part of the deal, Levy will provide funding that will enable The Jockey Club to invest \u00a3100 million in its venues and customer offering. The investment will be paid in instalments over five years.<\/p>\n
The partnership will also see the existing joint venture, Jockey Club Catering, rebranded as Jockey Club Experiences. The rebranded entity will oversee hospitality and food and beverage operations alongside broader commercial activities linked to raceday and non-raceday events.<\/p>\n
Investment plans include the introduction of digital ticketing, upgrades to the customer experience at Cheltenham Racecourse and Aintree Racecourse, and developments aimed at strengthening the profile of The Derby within the domestic and international racing calendar.<\/p>\n
