Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has made Diageo an official partner of Lord\u2019s in a deal which will see Guinness and Pimm\u2019s become available at the ground.<\/p>\n
The drinks will be available at public bars, members\u2019 areas, and hospitality spaces in the London venue.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is fantastic to partner with Diageo, bringing Guinness and Pimm\u2019s to the fore at Lord\u2019s this summer,\u201d said Andy Muggleton, commercial director of MCC which owns Lord\u2019s.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe presence of Guinness, Guinness 0.0 and Pimm\u2019s across our Members\u2019 and Public Bars further strengthens our drinks offering and ensures that there is a drink for all tastes at Lord\u2019s.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am confident our Members and visitors will enjoy the wide range of high quality and recognisable brands available to them this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asahi UK<\/p>\n
In addition to Diageo\u2019s brands, Asahi UK has been appointed as Lord\u2019s new official beer partner and supplier in a multi-year agreement signed at the end of April.<\/p>\n
This means that drinks such as Asahi, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, and Fuller\u2019s London Pride will all be available around the ground.<\/p>\n
MCC is also marking the new partnership with the launch of its first-ever MCC ale, Old Father Time, which was selected by members and will be available in members\u2019 bars during the season.<\/p>\n

Fall of BrewDog<\/p>\n
The new partnerships come in the wake of Lord\u2019s cutting ties with BrewDog after the company was sold to American firm Tilray Brands.<\/p>\n
BrewDog left \u00a320m ($27m\/\u20ac23m) in unpaid bills to hundreds of UK businesses following its sale earlier this year.<\/p>\n
